Julio César Sánchez is an international tax expert with over 15 years of experience advising global clients on cross-border tax planning, corporate structuring, and regulatory compliance. He blends strategic vision with deep technical knowledge and a strong academic background, making him a trusted advisor for expats, startups, and international businesses navigating complex tax landscapes.

Julio began his career as an international tax auditor for the Ecuadorian Tax Authority, where he coordinated key audits under the OECD’s BEPS framework and contributed to over $200 million in tax recovery. In the private sector, he has supported more than 600 clients across Europe and Latin America, optimizing their fiscal structures and ensuring full legal compliance — including for crypto-related activities, digital nomads, and high-growth ventures.

As Co-Founder of Business Expats, Julio leads advisory services that empower individuals and companies to establish, expand, or regularize their presence in Spain. His areas of expertise include international taxation, digital assets, transfer pricing, and offshore structuring, always with a focus on compliance and long-term sustainability.
